Wild & Well Stewards
Wild & Well Stewards is a gentle, supported pathway for young people aged 13–16 who are ready to take on a leadership role within our Kids’ Wellness Clubs.
Stewards attend sessions alongside younger children, helping to create a calm, welcoming environment while being guided and supported by experienced adult facilitators. This is not a staff or volunteer role — Stewards are participants in a supported learning pathway and are never responsible for behaviour management or left alone with children.
The role supports the development of confidence, empathy, responsibility, and connection through time spent outdoors, community involvement, and reflective practice.
Ages: 13–16
Location: Werneth Low Country Park
Places capped at 4 Stewards per session
Reduced rate to reflect the Steward role
For some young people, this role may be suitable for supporting the Volunteering section of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Please contact us before booking if this applies.
New Stewards will be asked to complete a one-off Steward Registration Form after booking.
