Three ways to work with us

Facilitate with Living Nature

We’re building a small, values-aligned pool of facilitators to deliver Living Nature sessions — alongside Josie or independently, under our framework with full session planning provided. If nature-based work, therapeutic facilitation, education, or outdoor learning is your background — we’d love to hear from you. Facilitators are always paid. Always well supported.

Develop a project with us

One of the things a CIC can do that individuals often can’t is apply for community and public funding. If you’re a practitioner, educator, or community worker with an idea that sits within Living Nature’s values — we may be able to develop and apply for that project together.

This isn’t a formal process. It starts with a conversation. If the fit is right, we work out together what the project could look like, what funding might be available, and what each of us brings to it.

Partner with us

We work with schools, NHS teams, and community organisations who want to bring nature-based wellbeing to the people they serve — whether that’s a one-off session, a series, or something longer term. Not sure what it could look like? That’s fine — we’re good at working that out together.

Volunteer with us

Volunteering with Living Nature isn’t about filling a role — it’s about being part of something you believe in. Our volunteers show up, get stuck in, and genuinely shape what the community becomes.

There are lots of ways to be useful — helping at Wild & Well Kids Club sessions, supporting Wild & Gather community days, photographing what we do, tending the land, bringing a skill (woodworking, growing, cooking, music, creative arts), or simply being a warm and consistent presence.

We ask for honesty about what you can give — a one-off, a regular commitment, or something in between. We’ll never ask for more than you have.

In return: experience in community wellbeing and outdoor education, the chance to develop new skills, and a genuine place in the Living Nature community

Join the community

The Living Nature community lives in our WhatsApp group — The Commons. It’s where session updates, seasonal prompts, and community conversation happen. Open to anyone who’s been to a session or wants to stay connected.
