Calm Connected Communities

Practical wellbeing for NHS teams, workplaces and community organisations

The pressures facing people at work are real — heavy workloads, stretched capacity, blurred boundaries, and little time to pause. When staff feel genuinely supported and connected, everything shifts. Teams communicate better, morale improves, and people feel more able to show up fully for the work that matters.

At Living Nature, Josie brings over a decade of experience as an integrative psychotherapist, mindfulness practitioner, and creative wellbeing facilitator. Her sessions are warm, grounded, and practical — giving people tools they can actually use, without adding to their load.

By working with Living Nature, you’re also directly supporting our community programmes for children, families and adults in Stockport and Tameside.

OUR PATHWAY

We offer three levels of support — from a standalone taster session to a full workshop or ongoing partnership. Everything is flexible, practical, and shaped around the real needs of your team.

Step 1: Wellbeing from the Ground Up — Taster Session

A one-hour interactive session giving your team a genuine taste of what grounded wellbeing looks like in practice.

What’s included:

  • A grounding check-in and simple breathwork to settle and arrive together
  • A short reflective discussion on what wellbeing actually means — and what gets in the way
  • Nature-based mindfulness and sketching as accessible tools for stress and anxiety relief
  • Practical strategies to take away and use straight away

No prior experience needed. Non-judgmental, accessible, and suitable for all staff regardless of role or background.

Impact: Staff leave feeling more grounded, with simple tools they can return to during a busy day.

Step 2: Wellbeing Workshop or Away Day

A deeper session for teams wanting more than a taster.

What’s included:

  • Half-day or full-day workshop: practical strategies for stress management, emotional regulation, and creative reflection
  • Breathwork, journalling, and mindfulness practices tailored to your workplace context
  • Team connection activities that strengthen communication and collaboration
  • Optional outdoor element for teams who want a nature-based experience

Impact: Teams leave with shared language around wellbeing, practical tools, and a renewed sense of connection.

Step 3: Ongoing Wellbeing Partnership

For organisations ready to embed real wellbeing into their culture.

What’s included:

  • Regular sessions — monthly or termly — to sustain momentum
  • Small group or 1:1 drop-ins for staff needing additional support
  • A wellbeing review to track impact and adapt provision over time
  • Flexibility to weave in mindfulness, creativity, or nature-based approaches depending on your context

Impact: Long-term resilience, reduced burnout, and a culture where staff feel genuinely supported.

Partnerships & Funding

We know budgets are tight — particularly in the NHS and third sector. We’re committed to finding ways to make this work:

  • Pilot sessions at discounted rates for new partners
  • Support applying for external funding where relevant
  • Flexible models built around your organisation’s actual needs

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all service. It’s a conversation.
